In his role as head of private credit Buckley is responsible for all operations and performance of our private credit fund as well as leading our affiliated loan origination firm as CEO. Buckley’s background is entrepreneurial; he started Powell Group out of college where is negotiated multi-family real estate transactions including marketing, deal structure and financing terms.

Buckley has a bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration from the College of Charleston.

Buckley is an accomplished kite surfer and a veteran of the University of South Carolina and College of Charleston men’s swim teams.
